  • The children got the unlimited source of energy that’s why when we ask them to not to play, not to be naughty and sit idle they just don’t understand what to do with that energy there is no passage out there to vent their overflowing energy. So, they would become destructive, they would shout, break, they would make their presence felt.
  • Instead, if we would use their energies in creativity. Once they are part of process in creating their breakfast or other smaller dishes, they would start loving it and have the respect of food and the nutrition.
  • Start with simple techniques like peeling the banana and putting them into mixer jar. You grind and pour milk in front of them grind and make them taste it with a little bit of natural strawberry, a bit of nuts maybe cashew a bit of chocolate powder they would enjoy it and you have given them a complete meal with all the ingredients proteins, healthy fats, natural flavours, benefits of banana.
  • Similarly, you can show them the art of sprouting and children would love to see the how boring lentils or black gram seeds turning into sprouts and growing. And adding a bit of your culinary skills you can turn it into a crispy tasty dish.

Never think that my boy is going to become an IIT engineer or my daughter would be a most sought-after doctor, yes, they would be but once learning the healthy food skills and being independent in preparing a healthy-meals in shorter period time would inculcate into their blood that would go a long way in keeping them healthy for rest of their lives. Also, if they developed the taste of healthy foods they would loathe the refined starches, sugar, chocolates and colas for rest of their lives.
